Dr Sandeep Shastri is a Political Scientist who is the Pro Vice Chancellor of the Jain University and Director of its Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Education (CERSSE). He is also the National Coordinator of the Lokniti network. His research is largely in the field of a) Election Studies b) Federalism; c) Innovation in Teaching; and d) Survey based research. He has to his credit 10 Books, more than 40 articles in Edited Books & over 60 articles in refereed Research Journals, besides more than 200 articles in Op Ed pages of newspapers.

Prof. S.C. Sharma is an educationist, researcher, administrator, technocrat, musician and a man with a mission to serve the society with relentless devotion and sincerity.  He has 10 doctoral conferment based on his research work from various Universities and holds the Doctor of Law from the prestigious National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. Dr. S.C. Sharma has been conferred with prestigious ‘Nadoja’ award from Hampi Kannada University. At present he is conferred with 12 Honoris Causa from Government supported universities.  As the Former Director of NAAC, Dr. Sharma has ushered in a new era of assessment and accreditation process in the country including ICT based A& A process, customized manuals for institutions.

Professor - Music Education

Singer/Songwriter and Author Bindu Subramaniam is the daughter of world famous violinist Dr. L Subramaniam. In addition to studying Carnatic music, she has also learnt western classical singing and piano. She has a master’s certificate in Songwriting and Music Business from Berklee Music, a Master’s degree in Law and an MPhil in Cultural Studies and Music. As a songwriter, she was a finalist for the Unisong International Song Contest in the Performance Category and received an Honourable Mention at the Billboard World Song Contest.

Professor - Carnatic Music

Vaikam Jayachandran has been trained in Carnatic Music under his father Sri Vaikam G Vasudevan Namboothiri. He has done 4 years “Gaana Bhooshanam” and 3 years “Gaana Praveena”. Jayachandran has given performances all over India and abroad and has over 25 years of teaching experience in this field.. He has received numerous awards and titles from many Sabhas and temples. He is a B-high grade artist of AIR. Currently he is working as a music faculty in LGCE under the world renowned musician Dr. L Subramaniam.

Kala Ramnath with her ‘Singing Violin’ stands among the world’s finest, most inspirational instrumentalists. Her playing has been

featured on the Grammy-nominated Miles from India project, compositions of hers have appeared on the Grammy-winning album “In

27 Pieces” and the Kronos Quartet’s 50 For The Future. She was the first Indian violinist ever to be featured in the violin Bible, The Strad. In May 2017, she was awarded the most illustrious Sangeet Natak Academy Puraskaar for her contributions to the violin in Hindustani Classical Music.

 Pt. Tanmoy Bose is a renowned tabla player, musical producer, and composer. He has travelled across the Middle East, North America, Europe and India experimenting with timeless Jazz, Indian Classical Music, Folk Music and indigenous drumming. He has been a part of multiple Grammy award-winning albums – Full Circle, Carnegie Hall (2000), and Concert for George (2004).
In 2002, he created the musical group The Taal Tantra Experience. Through this project, he showcased familiar sounds through unfamiliar mediums, cross-cultural rhythm, and devices. 

“Mridanga Ratna” “Mridanga Marthanda” Vankayala Ramana Murthy is the 4th generation musician from his family. 

He has been recognized as a child prodigy and holds the credit of playing his first concert at the age of 8. He was also the winner of AIR- Annual Music competition in the year 1981. He has been awarded the highest grade in AIR (All India Radio) “TOP GRADE” in Mridangam in the year 2007.

V V Ramana Murthy is an extensive performer for the past 4 decades with all the top Indian Classical musicians of both Carnatic and Hindustani styles as well as Jazz Groups.
