Dr. Meera Rajaram Pranesh has an MA, M.Phil, and PhD and is a Gold Medalist in Carnatic Music from the Bangalore University. She is a Visiting Professor in Music Department of Performing Arts in Bangalore University and Jain University. As a Scholar and musician Dr. Meera Rajaram Pranesh has done an extensive research on the Wadiyars of Mysore. She has also rendered her service as a Guide to many students providing exemplary guidance in completing their Ph.D. research.
